Summer camp registration opens to the public February 1, 2021.
A Children's Habitat is excited to offer six themed camp weeks this summer, for ages 3* to 9 years of age. Children are invited to join us in the Outdoor Classroom white exploring topics such as Camping, Olympics, and Spy School.
Each week will have a focused theme and planned curriculum, though student-led activities are encouraged. Themes are outdoor-oriented, geared to foster an appreciation for our natural environment.
During the pandemic, COVID-19 precautions will be taken. Temperature and symptom screenings will take place before signing in each day and mask wearing is encouraged outside and required inside. Campers will need to bring a personal mask daily. Cleaning for communal spaces and amply distanced lunch spacing will be routine procedure. Handwashing will be available during camp hours and hand sanitizer will be provided.
All camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, and take place exclusively in our Outdoor Classroom; though campers will be moved promptly to our indoor classrooms in the event of inclement weather. Children will need to bring a sack lunch each day. Camp cost is $160 per week with a $60 non-refundable deposit required. Deposits will be applied toward your total camp fee with the remaining balance ($100) due the Monday of each camp week. Please return your registration form and deposit to A Children's Habitat, c/o Summer Camp, 801 West 73rd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260. WE MUST HAVE EVERYTHING TO RESERVE YOUR SPACE.
